Starting Monday, June 15, the Shehyni-Medyka border crossing will temporarily suspend the processing of passenger buses traveling from Ukraine to Poland.
The restrictions are connected with repair works on the bus lane leading toward the Polish side. During the repair period, buses will not be able to cross the border through this checkpoint when leaving Ukraine.
Key changes for carriers and passengers:
- from June 15, buses from Ukraine to Poland will not be allowed through Shehyni-Medyka;
- the restriction applies only to the bus lane in the direction of Poland;
- the repairs are expected to last until approximately November 2027;
- buses traveling from Poland to Ukraine will continue to be processed as usual.
Passengers and transport companies should take these changes into account when planning their routes and choose other available border crossings for travel to Poland.
