In 2022, he received a mine-explosive injury in the Luhansk region due to artillery fire by the Russians while covering the evacuation of wounded comrades.

The participants of the competition were war veterans and military personnel who have been defending Ukraine since 2014 and received injuries, wounds or illnesses during their service.
The United Air Force Trials 2024 is an annual intramural adaptive sports competition for veterans and service members of the United States Air Force with injuries, injuries, or illnesses.
