The Department of Tourism and Resorts of Lviv Oblast has prepared a list of tourist locations worth visiting on weekends
Tustan – a medieval rock fortress-castle and customs house of the XII-XVI centuries, an ancient Russian rock defense complex, the remains of which are located in the Ukrainian Carpathians.
Majestic precipitous rocks rise up to 50 m high in the middle of the forest. The defenders of this fortress resisted the Tatar-Mongol conquerors for a long time. Grottoes, underground passages, wells are cut in the rocks.

Stilskoe hillfort is a medieval hillfort located along the eastern outskirts of the villages of Stilsko, Dubrova and Iliv of Trostyanetska OTG. Founded in the 7th century.
At that time, the city had about 45,000 inhabitants.
Caves cut into the rock where people lived long ago. Nearby is the Diryavets Stone, which was used by the ancient Slavs as a temple. A fire was burning there and offerings were made. It is believed that the Stone served as a temple of the Sun in ancient times.

The Pryma Grotto is a Neanderthal settlement that was found on the territory of Ukraine and is an archeological monument of European importance
It has three levels, on the top two there are small caves that offer a picturesque view of the nearby canyon. The remains of prehistoric creatures were found in these caves in 2004.

Yamelnytsia rocks – there are several rock complexes around the village of Yamelnytsia
Each of them has its own name: “Pyshchyk”, “Shyatiy”, “Kikoshiv”, “Stina” or “Yushkova Yama” – some of the largest and most mysterious stones that are combined into a whole rock complex.

Princely Rocks – a group of rocks rising above the valley of the Stryi River
Located on the outskirts of the village of Tyshivnytsia. The maximum height of the rocks is 42 m. The complex consists of three rocks – Prince’s Rock, Yaroslavna and Khanska. The Yaroslavna Rock offers a wonderful panoramic view of the Stryi River valley. A trip here is ideal for lovers of mountain tourism and mountaineering.
