Aid to fighters at the front and evacuation of IDPs: how a day passed in Lviv Oblast

The air alert was announced once – on February 18 at 08:40. There was a threat of missile strikes from the Black Sea. The danger did not materialize. Everything is calm in the Lviv region.

Another 101 people arrived in Lviv Oblast by evacuation trains during the day. 1,368 people from our region went to Przemyśl. This was announced by the head of Lviv OVA Maksym Kozytskyi.

In the village of Zimna Voda, Lviv district, a charity fair was held at Lyceum No. 1. Pupils and their parents, employees of the lyceum and local residents managed to collect more than 168 thousand hryvnias by joint efforts. All funds will be directed to help the Armed Forces.

“In the Chervonohrad community, 10 modular houses are being installed for the residence of forcibly displaced persons. They were handed over by the German company Green Planet Energy eG as part of the project “Supporting Structural Changes in the Coal Regions of Ukraine”, which is implemented on behalf of the German Government. The first two modular houses were delivered to the Chervonohrad community at the end of January,” said the head of the OVA.

The soldiers of the Drohobych Battalion of the Military Academy, who are currently on the front lines, were visited by compatriots from Drohobychchyna. The necessary help was given to the soldiers – a generator, a torch, lanterns, trench candles and other things. They also brought an ambulance for the Dobropil city hospital in the Donetsk region.
