Last year in the Lviv region, nearly three thousand people were injured as a result of road traffic accidents (RTAs).
In total, police recorded 2312 RTAs with injuries in 2025. In these traffic incidents, 253 people died and 2923 were injured. The main causes of such RTAs were: speeding violations, violations of intersection passage rules, violations of pedestrian crossing rules.
