The new rental season starts in Lviv on April 28. Bolt electric scooters can be rented at reduced rates
In April 2022, Bolt decided to resume electric scooter rental in the city during martial law. Currently, Lviv has an increased load on transport infrastructure, as a large number of internally displaced persons have arrived in the city. In addition, Bolt electric scooters last year proved to be a popular type of micro-transport for short distances.
Starting from April 28, Lviv residents and visitors will be able to use Bolt electric scooters for travel. To support Ukrainians during the war, Bolt resumes scooter rental at reduced rates: from UAH 5 for unlocking and UAH 1.5 for each minute of using the vehicle.
We remind you that in Lviv there is a speed limit on electric scooters up to 20 km / h. Before the first trip, it is mandatory to be instructed in the safe operation of the scooter. By setting the beginner mode, the user can limit the speed of their movement to 15 km / h. The Bolt appendix also identifies urban areas where electric scooters are prohibited.
“Electric scooters have become an integral part of the transport system of many cities. So it is very positive that Bolt electric scooters are returning to the streets of Lviv. They help to unload traffic, and fast and convenient movement through the city has always been one of our priorities. Also, together with the Bolt team, we are developing possible options for cooperating with city parking inspectors so that they can move around the city quickly and easily with electric scooters, ”said Oleh Zabarylo, director of the Lviv City Council’s Department of Urban Mobility and Street Infrastructure.

This environmentally friendly and easy-to-manage mode of transport significantly increases the mobility of the population. We would also like to remind you that on April 7, the Bolt electric scooter rental service became available in Kyiv as well, ”said Anton Milka, Head of Bolt Sharing Services Development in Ukraine.
