For three months, farming in the Mykolayiv region suffered from constant shelling by the Russian army. The farm was located in the gray zone, between the positions of the Ukrainian army and the Russian invaders.
The owner of the farm was looking for ways to save animals through social media.
Drohobytsk City Council helped to evacuate the cow farm. Three volunteers from the Lviv region went to the Mykolaiv region to organize an evacuation.
“Many animals received shrapnel injuries, they were already operated on in Lviv region. Today they are already in their usual environment, they feel calm. After our victory, our soldiers will return here, and there will be farms, farms, and workplaces, that is, life will continue,” said Andriy Kovch, deputy chairman of the Drogobytsk City Council.
The evacuation itself lasted about three hours. Under rocket and artillery fire, they took out cars under the cover of the Armed Forces. The main danger was Russian Orlan drones, which the enemy used to find targets and adjust fire.
