
The hydrological situation in the Lviv region as of July 14, 2025, is characterized by changes in water levels in the rivers.
According to the hydrometeorological network data, between 0.3 to 16 mm of precipitation was recorded in the Lviv region. Yesterday, the rivers in the Dniester basin showed a decrease in water levels by 1 – 20 cm. For most lowland rivers in the Western Bug basins and in the upper reaches of the Styry river, a gradual increase in water levels was observed, rising by 6 – 12 cm, and in some places up to 16 cm.
The maximum water level in the area of GP Rodostavka river – St. Troitsya occurred on July 13 at 08:00. In the area of GP Western Bug river – Kamyanka-Buzka town, Poltva river – Busk town, water remained on the floodplain with layers of 32 and 70 cm respectively.
On the following day, a decrease in water levels will be observed in the rivers of the Syan and Dniester basins. On specific rivers in the Western Bug basins and in the upper reaches of the Styry river, slight increases in water levels will be observed. A warning is in effect for a hazardous hydrological phenomenon (HHP-I) under No. G-5 from July 12, 2025.
