Citizens who plan to stay within the border area of Lviv region need to obtain a permit

WE REMIND CITIZENS WHO PLAN TO STAY WITHIN THE BORDER AREA OF LVIV REGION TO OBTAIN A PERMIT

Amendments to the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine No. 1147 “On Border Regime” introduced by the Government of Ukraine provide for restrictions on free entry, stay, residence, work and movement of persons in the border zone (a 5 km wide area from the state border line).

Restrictions include the need to obtain a permit for persons who plan to stay within the border zone of Lviv region (Chervonohrad, Lviv, Yavoriv, Sambir districts). Decisions on granting/refusing to grant a permit are issued by the 7th Carpathian border guard detachment no later than ten working days from the date of receipt of the application for granting/recognizing the permit and the documents attached to it (the list is provided by the adopted amendments). The border guard detachment shall notify the applicant of the decision no later than the next business day using the official communication channel specified in the application.

We remind you that the border strip does not include settlements and places of mass recreation designated by local governments. Therefore, the regime restrictions for the border zone do not apply there.

Therefore, we urge citizens who plan to stay within the border area in Lviv region not to delay in obtaining permits and to send applications to the 7th Carpathian border guard detachment in a way convenient for the person:
