Juvenile police officers together with the World Health Organization, with the support of the International Association for Suicide Prevention, held the World Suicide Prevention Day.
Employees of the Juvenile Prevention Department of the Lviv Oblast Police conducted preventive measures with children and parents on prevention, recognition of the possibility of suicide by children, inflicting self-harm and injury, dangers for children on social networks, as well as rules for safe use of the Internet with children and parents.
In order to prevent suicidal manifestations and to prevent the commission of other actions that lead to children’s self-harm and injury, juvenile police officers organized informational lessons, meetings, lectures, workshops, round tables, as well as educational and informational campaigns, flash mobs and actions among the public for children and parents. the topic “I choose to live”.
The police of the Lviv region pay special attention to ensuring the rights and legitimate interests of children and creating a safe environment for them.
