Lviv handed over drones, walkie-talkies, cars and generators to the military

The city continues to support defenders. As the first deputy mayor of Lviv, Andriy Moskalenko, reported, drones, walkie-talkies and a car, as well as generators and tires were handed over thanks to citizens’ taxes.

“The items were purchased within the framework of the city-wide military support program initiated by the mayor and faction heads of the Lviv City Council at the expense of the Lviv community. I also thank Volodymyr Zhenchak for his help in the transfer of anti-drone systems for the 24th and 80th brigades,” noted Andriy Moskalenko.

In particular, the 80th Separate Airborne Assault Brigade received drones, the 125th Separate Territorial Defense Brigade received a drone, walkie-talkies and a car, and the 45th Separate Artillery Brigade received generators and tires.

As a reminder, the city constantly allocates funds to the defense capability and support of the Lviv military, which defends Ukraine from Russian invaders: the 125th and 103rd Territorial Defense Brigades, separate 80th Airborne Assault Brigade and the 24th Mechanized Brigade named after King Danylo, and as well as other brigades performing combat tasks.

In total, since February 24, defenders have received 185 million hryvnias from the taxes of Lviv residents. This is the tailoring of uniforms, the purchase of back-up power generators, means of communication, body armor, technical and operational support, fuel, etc.
