The Lviv region has faced a serious series of ecosystem fires that have caused significant damage over the past day. Rescue teams in Lviv managed to extinguish six major fires that engulfed over 5,200 square meters of dry grass and shrubs.
Such cases were recorded in the villages of Opora of Drohobych district, Voloscha and Ulychne, as well as in Naguevychi and Khashchovoye of Sambir district, and in Dashava of Stryi district. The fires filled the air with ash and posed a major threat to local residents and nature.
Burning trash, dry grass, and bushes is considered illegal and can lead to severe penalties, including fines. Such actions not only pose a threat to human life but also critically harm ecosystems, destroying living organisms.
We call on all residents and visitors of the region: be cautious, adhere to precautionary measures, and help preserve the natural treasures of our region.
