Lviv Region: Slight Decline in River Water Levels

The significance of this news lies in the fact that the hydrological situation on the rivers of Lviv Region is stabilising. In the past day, the water levels on the rivers of the Dniester basin fluctuated within 1 – 5 cm, mostly with a decline, as reported by LvivMeteo.

On the lowland rivers of the San and Western Bug basins, the drop in water levels was between 1 – 14 cm per day. In the vicinity of the town of Kamianka-Buzka, water remained in the floodplain with a layer of 2 cm.

It is expected that the overall decline in water levels on the region’s rivers will continue over the next day. Specifically, in the area of the Western Bug river near the town of Kamianka-Buzka, the water will gradually recede from the floodplain.
