Lviv region received 35.1 million hryvnias to purchase housing for family-type children’s homes.
In 2025, Lviv received a subsidy from the state budget to support children’s homes that relocated from Donetsk, Kherson, and Zaporizhzhia regions. This funding is intended for the purchase of five homes.
“The first house has already been purchased in the Dobrosyn-Maheriv community for a family from Kherson region. Ten children will live in the new home,” said Volodymyr Lys, head of the Children’s Service of the Lviv Regional State Administration.
To date, funds have been allocated for the purchase of four homes for families raising orphans and children deprived of parental care. These are family-type children’s homes in Stryi, Mostyska, and Dobrosyn-Maheriv communities. The total amount of allocated subsidy for them exceeds 26 million hryvnias.
