Lviv region honors the memory of children who died due to Russian aggression.
Today, June 4, together with all of Ukraine, we honor the memory of children who died as a result of the armed aggression by the Russian Federation against Ukraine. An event titled \”Angels of Memory\” took place at the Angels Square near the Garrison Church of the Holy Apostles Peter and Paul in Lviv.
Since the start of the full-scale invasion, Russia has taken 631 children’s lives. We have no right to remain silent. And we have no right to forget.
\”Now they would be going on vacations. Running. Laughing. Dreaming. Making friends. Living! But Russia killed them. Today and every day we remember the names of the little Ukrainians taken by war. Lviv region remembers.\” – stated the head of the Lviv Regional State Administration, Maksym Kozytsky.
Today is a day when we not only remember. We make a promise to ourselves: to do everything to protect the living. Children have the right to a childhood.
