Today, information has emerged in the media about an investigation into the transfer of forest areas near Lviv.
In April 2023, an order was signed approving the land management technical documentation for a plot of 128 hectares. This land is designated for forestry and has been transferred for permanent use to SE ‘Forests of Ukraine’.
The order was prepared at the request of SE ‘Lviv Forest Enterprise’ and concerned the demarcation of the forest fund boundaries. After the transfer, all activities concerning the plot were under the responsibility of SE ‘Forests of Ukraine’.
The Lviv OVA did not make any decisions regarding the division, change of purpose, or lease of the plot. ‘No regulatory documents regarding the future of the specified plot were adopted by the head of the Lviv OVA,’ emphasized the deputy head of the Lviv Regional State Administration, Yuriy Buchko.
