Today, on Rynok Square, the fathers blessed another 20 vehicles for the military who are defending our country from the Russian aggressor. These cars were purchased by Iryna Fedyshyn at the expense of funds raised at concerts in European cities in the summer.

“This time we bought 20 vehicles. I had a summer tour – several cities in Portugal, Prague, Brno, and three cities in the US – Colorado, Richmond and Boston. And thanks to the money raised at the concerts, we were able to buy these 20 cars. Before that, there were 60, now there are 20 for the summer tour, but unfortunately, they do not cover all the requests and requests, which are many times more. But we continue to work and help the guys, and now we have several concerts planned again, both in Lviv and in Ukraine. In total, we have managed to send 262 vehicles to the frontline, and we continue to help because the guys keep calling us. Right now, it is important not to stop and continue to help, to fight, because the fight is not only a weapon, but also strength of spirit, love, and devotion to the native land. And we can help our country and fight for it through donations, support, a good word, and by spreading the word – as much as we can,” Iryna Fedyshyn said in her commentary.
In total, since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, the singer has purchased 262 vehicles for the Armed Forces, hundreds of drones and radios, helmets, body armour and uniforms.
Lviv Mayor Andriy Sadovyi noted that at the request of military brigades and units, the city constantly buys what is urgently needed at the front line or provides subventions for it. These are drones, cars, radios, and various specialised technical items. The purchases are part of the Lion’s Revenge initiative. In total, over the first eight months of this year, the city budget has already allocated about UAH 600 million for the needs of the Armed Forces.
“We have already allocated UAH 600 million for the purchase of weapons and equipment, and we will allocate another UAH 500 million by the end of the year. Because today there is nothing more important than helping the frontline,” he said.
The mayor then thanked Iryna Fedyshyn and presented her with a commemorative coin named after King Danylo Halytskyi on behalf of the city community. By the way, this is an honorary award from the Lviv City Hall for active social work and services to the community, as well as assistance to our defenders.
The cars on Rynok Square were blessed by Fathers Orest Fredyna and Taras Karvatskyi, who noted that the cars are dedicated to ensure that people who have dedicated their lives to defend their homeland are under God’s protection.
“I thank everyone who is trying to help today. Each of your hearts, each of your hands, each of your kopecks is enrolled in the heavenly treasury and will be repaid a hundredfold. Let’s work and help those who are the best among us and who are having the hardest time today,” said Father Orest Fredina.
According to Iryna Fedyshyn, these vehicles were purchased thanks to the concerts I gave this summer.

I thank my husband Vitaliy Chovnyk, without whom these concerts would not have been possible. After all, he organised them, took care of the technical support, held charity auctions, made and organised the purchase of cars, their repairs, painting and a lot of other volunteer work. He also keeps in touch with the military. This is an incredibly large amount of work. This work is not very visible, so I want to describe it at least a little bit. Vitaliy, I am proud of you.
I am grateful to the volunteers from the Where Hope Lives charity foundation, headed by Sergey Kanyuka, who once again help us bring vehicles and deliver the work to the frontline for maintenance and repair. This is a great team of volunteers who never get tired of faithfully helping their country in such a difficult time. You are all great!
