Recently, during the day shift, an excited man approached the crew on Adam Mickiewicz Square and asked for help.
He said that his 14-year-old son is dying at home in the Sykhiv district and he urgently needs to go home.
Patrolmen Petro Gorgut and Mykhailo Vatamanyuk immediately went to Ternopilska Street together with their husband on red and blue flashing beacons and with a siren.
An ambulance was standing under the entrance. The policemen also decided to go up to the man’s apartment. There, doctors performed cardiopulmonary resuscitation on the boy.
The patrolmen immediately came to their aid and also began to perform chest compressions on the teenager. The boy was brought back to life by joint efforts with the medics. The policemen helped carry him to the ambulance.
Thank you to everyone who helped save a young life. We wish the boy a speedy recovery.
