Armored vests will be received by soldiers from the 28th separate mechanized brigade named after the Knights of the Winter Campaign.
The LOK team planned to hand over these 500 bulletproof vests as early as Christmas on the Gregorian calendar (December 25), but due to logistical issues, the handover had to be postponed.
Recently, the soldiers of the 28th separate mechanized brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, who continue to defend the city of Bakhmut against numerous attempts by Russian invaders to seize the city, received ammunition. As of today, the Bakhmut direction is one of the most difficult. Battles are fought from morning to night.
By the way, the team of the Lviv Defense Cluster goes on humanitarian missions to the front-line areas and delivers the necessary ammunition not only for the Ukrainian military, but also for health care workers and rescue workers who continue to work even under constant enemy fire.
In total, the LoK has already handed over 85,000 body armor for defenders to the front lines. LOK actively cooperates with the Lviv OVA, joins many initiatives, in particular equipping cars with ammunition, which are sent to the front from the Lviv region within the framework of the “1000 cars of freedom” initiative.
