On Saturday, 12 April 2025, the Roztochia Nature Reserve will host a Cleanup March.
It is organised by UAnimals, an animal and environmental rescue organisation, and invites everyone to join in .
The event will start at 10:30 am and last for three hours, excluding travel time .
“Roztochchia is a nature reserve with ancient beech forests, lakes, ponds, swamps, oak forests and meadows, as well as unique European pine and oak forests that no longer exist in Ukraine. Unfortunately, in Roztochchya, as in many other protected areas in Ukraine, people leave a lot of rubbish, which is not only harmful to the environment but can also be dangerous to animals. So now is the time to clean it up! Come yourself, bring your friends and children with you. Let everyone learn to take care of their home!” UAnimals commented.
The organisers of the march will provide participants with a transfer from Lviv and back. They will also provide gloves, garbage bags and drinking water.
