Lithuanian Minister of Economy Aushrina Armonaite visits IDP children temporarily living in Lviv Region

Lithuanian Minister of Economy and Innovation Aushrine Armonaite paid a working visit to Lviv Region. During the visit, the Minister together with the head of the Lviv Regional Military Administration Maksym Kozytsky met with displaced children living in one of the social institutions of the region.

Today, 13 children from the eastern and central regions of Ukraine, where active hostilities are taking place, live in the institution, which in peacetime takes care of children with visual impairments and severe developmental disorders of early, preschool and primary school age. Instead, the pupils of the institution are on distance learning.

“Our main message we want to convey is that we are always with you, we are on your side and we will do everything together to stop Putin. And I am already waiting for the day when we will start rebuilding Ukraine together. I hope, children, that you have a good time here and I wish you as many sunny days as possible. Don’t forget that you are children and don’t rush to grow up too fast, “said Aushrine Armonaite.

The Minister presented tablets and sweets to the displaced children.

She also got acquainted with the work of the institution together with Maksym Kozytsky.

The head of the Lviv OVA thanked the government and people of Lithuania, represented by Aushrin Armonaite, for Ukraine’s significant support in defending against the external enemy.
