Carpathian Border Guard Detachment detected three cases of illegal transportation of goods through checkpoints.
At the ‘Krakivets’ checkpoint, during the inspection of a Mercedes vehicle, an attempt to illegally transport 52 units of equipment and accessories worth 600 thousand hryvnias was recorded. Among the detected items: mobile phones, tablets, smartwatches, headphones, microprocessors, video cameras, hard disks, gamepads, and more.
At the ‘Rava-Ruska’ checkpoint, two more violations were recorded. In a Mercedes, border guards discovered 420 units of dietary supplements and 210 pairs of shoes from a popular British brand. In a Ford, 34 smartwatches with signs of use were found. All goods were seized according to established procedure. Protocols were issued to the individuals involved.
