Customs officers discovered undeclared goods at the ‘Shehyni – Medyka’ checkpoint.
Today, on October 12, customs officers found five new iPhone 17 Pro Max units on a 25-year-old citizen at the pedestrian crossing. The woman was returning from Poland and declared only one mobile phone and an IQOS smoking device. The estimated value of the discovered iPhones is 320 thousand hryvnias.
In addition, during the inspection of a ‘Mercedes Sprinter’ driven by a 41-year-old resident of Prykarpattia, customs officers found three diamonds. The weight of the lab-grown stones is 1.30, 0.52, 0.42 carats, and their value exceeds 200 thousand hryvnias.
Administrative protocols have been drawn up for these incidents in accordance with Part 2 of Article 471 of the Code of Customs.
