Customs officers discovered a concealed batch of mobile phones in Rava-Ruska.
At the crossing point ‘Rava-Ruska – Hrebenne’, during the inspection of a Peugeot crossover driven by a 32-year-old resident of Lviv region returning from Poland, customs officers found a concealed batch of mobile phones. Despite the woman choosing the ‘green corridor’ lane for customs clearance, the car contained ten Apple iPhone 15s and sixteen SAMSUNG phones. The devices were hidden in a secret compartment within the structural cavities of the vehicle’s right wing. A report has been filed regarding this incident for violation of customs regulations according to part 1 of Article 483 of the Customs Code of Ukraine. The estimated value of the goods is 750,000 UAH.
