Increase in Passenger Traffic at the Lviv Region Border

With the onset of the summer season, passenger traffic through the checkpoints of the Lviv region has increased by 40%.

On weekends, the load increases even more – by an average of 16% compared to weekdays. Current situation at the border as of now: Shehyni – 150 cars, Krakivets – 100 cars, Hrushiv – 30 cars, Uhryniv – 25 cars, Nyzankovychi – 10 cars. Smilnytsia and Rava-Ruska are operating without delays.

We recommend planning your trip in advance and, if possible, choosing less crowded checkpoints. Most crowded: “Krakivets”, “Shehyni”. Medium load: “Hrushiv”, “Uhryniv”, “Rava-Ruska”. Least load: “Smilnytsia”, “Nyzankovychi”.

Repair work is ongoing at the “Shehyni” checkpoint on the Ukrainian side, temporarily reducing throughput for both passenger and freight transport. Border guards of the 7th border Carpathian detachment have intensified their work, including increasing the number of border patrols during peak load hours, deploying additional automated workstations, and conducting regular meetings with Polish colleagues to expedite border crossing for citizens.
