As a result of a traffic accident in the Lviv region, two people, including a 12-year-old boy, were injured.
The accident occurred on September 3 at around 16:40 in the village of Solonske, Drohobych district. According to preliminary data, the driver of a Renault Kangoo, a 49-year-old resident of the Drohobych district, lost control of the vehicle. He drove onto the roadside and crashed into the support of a bridge.
As a result of the accident, the passengers of the car, a 12-year-old boy and a 33-year-old woman, both from Drohobych, sustained bodily injuries and were hospitalized. Investigators from the Drohobych district police department have opened a criminal case under part 1 of article 286 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The maximum penalty under this article is imprisonment for up to three years with deprivation of the right to drive vehicles for up to three years.
Law enforcement officers are establishing the circumstances of the incident.
