There is an increase in passenger traffic at the Ukrainian-Polish border in the Lviv region.
According to the 7th Border Carpathian Unit, due to the conclusion of the Jewish New Year Rosh Hashanah 2025 celebrations, pilgrims are organizing to leave Ukraine. This may lead to an increase in passenger traffic at Lviv’s border crossing points in the coming days.
Current load of crossing points (number of cars in line as of 2:00 pm):
- Uhryniv – 20
- Rava-Ruska – 20
- Hrushiv – 40
- Krakivets – 80
- Shehyni – 120
- Smilnytsia – 0
- Nyzankovychi – 30
The number of crossings at the pedestrian checkpoint in Shehyni has also increased.
The best time for crossing is late evening hours or early morning when the load is lower.
Whenever possible, choose alternative crossing points.
Before traveling, check for up-to-date information on the pages of the Western Regional Directorate of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine-Western Border and the 7th Border Carpathian Unit.
