Attempts to transport goods with violations were recorded at the Ukrainian-Polish border.
At the “Shehyni” checkpoint, border guards of the 7th Carpathian detachment, together with employees of the Lviv customs, discovered branded sports jackets and shoes in a Mercedes minivan – a total of 31 items.
At the same checkpoint, in another minivan, a Volkswagen, items of world-famous brands were found. Among the items were bags, wallets, shoes, watches, and jackets. The goods were attempted to be transported across the border without declaration.
According to preliminary estimates, the total value of the seized items exceeds half a million hryvnias.
