At the Hruszow checkpoint, border guards of the 7th Carpathian detachment, together with customs officers, discovered an attempt to illegally transport undeclared cargo – a batch of Apple MagSafe power banks with a total value of about 600 thousand hryvnias. **The batteries were located not in the luggage compartment but on the rear passenger seats of a Mercedes bus**, which was traveling from the Polish city of Leszno to Verkhovyna.
The 40-year-old driver of the vehicle stated that he received the goods in Wroclaw and was supposed to deliver them to Lviv. _”According to him, it was a private delivery.”_ Currently, a protocol on violation of customs regulations has been drawn up for the man, and the cargo has been confiscated.
