
The Lviv Regional Center of Hydrometeorology of Ukraine warns of possible floods and mudflows.
According to the center, significant rains are expected in the territory of the Lviv region. In the second half of June 3 and throughout June 4–5, the formation of rapid local rainwater floods is forecasted on some rivers of the Dniester basin. Water levels may rise by 0.3 – 1.3 m above the level as of 8:00 on June 2.
In areas of intense precipitation, significant local and slope runoff may occur. In mountainous areas, there is a threat of the formation of mudflows.
