The hydrological situation in Lviv region is changing due to precipitation.
According to the hydrometeorological network, between 1 and 5 mm of precipitation fell in some places in the Lviv region, and up to 17 mm in some areas. In particular, the greatest amount of precipitation was recorded in the area of HP Rivne-Rodostavka – village Troytsia and the town of Kamianka-Buzka. In the past day, the water levels of the rivers in the Syan and Dniester basins have decreased by 1 – 21 cm.
On certain rivers in the basins of the Western Bug and in the upper reaches of the Styr rivers, the gradual rise of water levels continued by 1 – 14 cm. On the rest of the rivers, the water levels decreased by up to 9 cm per day. According to the observer of HP Rivne-Poltva – Busk, the water receded from the floodplain.
In the next day, due to expected precipitation, an increase in water levels of 0.1 – 0.3 m above the current levels is expected on most rivers in the Dniester basin. On certain rivers in the basins of the Western Bug and at the headwaters of the Styr rivers, the gradual increase in water levels is expected to continue with a daily intensity of 1 – 10 cm per day. On the other rivers of the region, a decrease in water levels will prevail.
