The Lviv Regional Hydrometeorology Center has issued a storm warning for December 30−31. Strong northwesterly wind gusts up to 20 m/s, blizzards, and ice slicks are expected.
The Lviv City Council advises drivers and pedestrians to be cautious while moving. Drivers are recommended to maintain a safe distance, choose a moderate speed, and turn on headlights. Pedestrians should cross the road at designated places and use reflectors.
It is also advised to avoid large trees, power lines, and billboards due to the possibility of damage. In case of unforeseen situations, contact the city’s ‘Hotline’ at 15−80.
