As of 08:00 on August 26, 2025, the hydrological situation in the Lviv region is characterized by a drop in water levels.
According to the hydrometeorological network, in some areas of the Lviv region, 0.0 – 1 mm of precipitation fell over 24 hours. Over the past day, water levels on the rivers of the San and Dniester basins continued to drop by 1 – 16 cm. On the flat rivers of the Western Bug basin, slight fluctuations in water levels were observed within the range of 3 – 20 cm over 24 hours, with a tendency to rise. Water temperature on the mountainous tributaries of the Dniester was 5.8 – 11.0°, on the rest of the region’s rivers – 10.0 – 16.0°.
A forecast for changes in the hydrological situation on the rivers of the Lviv region indicates that the following day water levels will continue to drop on the rivers of the San and Dniester basins. On the rivers of the Western Bug basins and the upper reaches of the Styr, slight fluctuations in water levels will be observed, with a tendency to drop.
