The hydrological situation in the Lviv region is characterized by changes in water levels in rivers.
According to the hydrometeorological network, the Lviv region received 1 to 9 mm of precipitation over the last day. On the mountainous tributaries of the Dniester, a decrease in water levels was observed from 1 to 28 cm, locally intense up to 56 cm, particularly at Bystrets river – Ozimina village. In the lower reaches of the Dniester, specifically in the section Rozdil village – Zhuravno village and Stryvazh river – Luky village, an increase in water levels from 20 to 48 cm per day was noted within the channel. In the plains rivers of the San basin, the Western Bug, and the upper reaches of the Stir, there was a slight increase in water levels from 1 to 6 cm per day.
The water temperature in the mountainous tributaries of the Dniester was 6.8 – 13°, and in the other rivers of the region, it was 12.0 – 18.0°.
The consultation on changing the hydrological situation in the rivers of the Lviv region indicates that the next day, most of the rivers in the Dniester basin are expected to see fluctuations in water levels with a predominance of decreases, while a decrease in water levels will prevail in the other rivers of the region.
