In the Lviv region, residents are actively declaring unregistered weapons.
“We remind you that any person who voluntarily contacts the territorial police department to declare weapons stored without the necessary permit will not be criminally liable and will have the opportunity to register the declared weapons in their name.”
Since the start of the campaign, 208 citizens have contacted the Lviv police. A total of 222 firearms have been declared, including 87 automatic rifles, 13 carbine rifles, 4 combined weapons, 96 shotguns, 22 pistols and revolvers, and approximately 84 thousand rounds of various caliber ammunition.
If you have found firearms or ammunition, you must declare them immediately. This can be done at the departments of the Main Directorate of the National Police in the Lviv region at the specified addresses.
