Old munitions, posing a danger to the population, have once again been discovered in the Lviv region.
Yesterday afternoon, near the village of Sykhovychi in the Lviv district, a 76 mm explosive device from a World War II artillery shell was discovered during earthworks in a field. All necessary actions to destroy this old munition have been taken.
Rescuers remind: old munitions, regardless of their size and age, remain extremely dangerous. No curiosity is worth the risk to life and health.
