Five fires were registered in the Lviv region over the past day, with two people rescued, among them a child.
Rescuers emphasize the importance of following fire safety rules at home. “Do not smoke in bed; monitor the condition and serviceability of the electrical network; turn off electrical appliances when leaving the premises; do not leave young children unattended and do not allow them to play with fire; do not overload electrical networks, avoid switching on powerful electrical appliances at the same time; do not leave food unattended on the stove — food burning is a frequent cause of domestic fires,” rescuers remind.
