2.5-year-old Yana went missing in Zhyupany village, Lviv region: over 580 people involved in search

In the village of Zhyupany, located in the Stryi district of Lviv region, a 2.5-year-old girl named Yana has gone missing. The incident was reported to the police on June 23 around 6:00 PM by a relative, who stated that the child left the house and never returned. Since then, her whereabouts remain unknown.

A large-scale rescue operation was immediately launched. More than 580 individuals have been mobilized for the search, including rescuers, law enforcement officers, Red Cross volunteers, local residents, and other community members. Search teams are combing through forests, fields, water bodies, and surrounding areas.

Advanced equipment is being used in the operation, with 12 drones, 3 canine units with service dogs, and 22 units of special machinery deployed. Search efforts continue around the clock, with teams working tirelessly, including during nighttime.

The rescue operation for the child remains a top priority for all involved services.
