The ‘Smilnytsia – Kroscienko’ checkpoint ensures swift customs clearance amidst the picturesque Carpathians.
The customs post is located in the Staryi Sambir district of Lviv Oblast, on the Ukrainian-Polish border. Its uniqueness lies in its geographical location amidst mountainous terrain, creating a pleasant atmosphere.
From the Polish side, the highway leads to the city of Sanok, providing convenient connections to major cities such as Krakow. On the Ukrainian side, the T-14-01 road connects settlements like Staryi Sambir, Khyriv, and Smilnytsia.
The customs post serves passenger traffic and cargo vehicles up to 7.5 tons. **The joint control system** with the Polish side reduces the border crossing time to 5 minutes.
“We strive to ensure that every border crossing occurs quickly, conveniently, and without unnecessary waiting,” said Dmytro Husach, the head of the customs post.
