The rivers of the Lviv region are experiencing gradual water level rises.
According to the hydrometeorological network, the Lviv region received between 0.4 to 4 mm of precipitation in 24 hours. This has led to a rise in water levels in the Dniester river basin by 2-15 cm, in places up to 18 cm, particularly on the Dniester River in the city of Sambir and the Yablunka River in the city of Turka. On the flatland rivers of the Sian, Western Bug basins, and the upper reaches of the Styr, water levels rose by 1-11 cm.
The water temperature in the mountainous tributaries of the Dniester was 0.4-3.2°, and on the other rivers – 2.4-4.6°. As of the morning of November 26, the snow cover in the region is 2-5 cm, in Lviv – 2 cm, and at mountain weather stations – 2 cm.
The following day, gradual minor rises in water levels on the region’s rivers are expected to continue.
