
There is an observed rise in water levels in the rivers of the Lviv region due to rainfall.
According to the hydrometeorological network data, between 2 and 21 mm of precipitation fell in the Lviv region over a day. The first snow cover was formed in the mountainous part of the region, with snow height from 1 to 3 cm in Slavske and Turka. Over the past day, due to precipitation, most of the rivers in the Dniester basin saw a rise in water levels by 9 – 24 cm, in some places up to 33 cm. On the rest of the region’s rivers, a slight rise in water levels up to 7 cm was noted.
The water temperature in the mountainous tributaries of the Dniester ranged from 1.3 to 5.5°, while in the plains rivers, it was from 4.8 to 7.9°.
A consultation on the change in the hydrological situation on the rivers of the Lviv region: the following day, a decrease in water levels will be observed on the mountain tributaries of the Dniester, while a gradual increase in water levels by 0.1 to 0.3 m above the levels of 18.11.2025 at 08:00 will continue on the rest of the region’s rivers, without negative consequences.
