Overview of the hydrological situation on rivers in the Lviv region as of 08:00 AM, April 14, 2025:
According to the hydrometeorological network data across the Lviv region, 0.3 – 1 mm of precipitation fell within a day in some areas.
Water Level Rise
- In the past day, due to snowmelt in the mountains and the arrival of a small wave, water levels continued to rise on most rivers in the Dniester basin by 4 – 23 cm, in some areas by 31 – 38 cm (GP Dniester River – Zhuravno, Opir River – Skole, Stryi River – Stryi), while in other rivers, a drop in water levels by 4 – 14 cm was noted.
- On rivers in the San and Western Bug basins, slight water level increases up to 2 cm were observed per day.
The water temperature in the mountain tributaries of the Dniester ranged from 2.4 – 7.2°, while in other rivers of the region – 5.8 – 11.0°.
