Hydrological Situation on the Rivers of Lviv Region: Forecast for the Day

Overview of the hydrological situation on the rivers of Lviv region as of 08:00 on December 1, 2025.

According to the hydrometeorological network data, up to 1 mm of precipitation fell across the Lviv region in a day. In the Dniester basin rivers, a decrease in water levels from 1 to 6 cm was observed, in some places up to 24 cm (HP Strviazh River – Luki village). On the plain rivers of the Syan, Western Bug basins, and in the upper reaches of the Styr, water levels fluctuated within the range of -3 to +6 cm per day.

The water temperature in the mountainous tributaries of the Dniester ranged from 1.4 to 3.8°, while on the rest of the rivers in the region it ranged from 3.7 to 7.0°.

Consultation on the change in the hydrological situation on the rivers of Lviv region: The following day, slight fluctuations in water levels with a tendency towards a decrease will be observed on the region’s rivers.
