
The hydrological situation on the rivers of the Lviv region as of January 06, 2026, indicates changes in water levels and ice phenomena.
Over the past day, according to the hydrometeorological network, between 0 to 8 mm of precipitation fell in the Lviv region. The rivers in the region experienced fluctuations in water levels within 1-14 cm, with a tendency towards decrease. Most rivers retained ice phenomena in the form of shoreside ice and frazil, with partial ice cover noted on certain river sections.
In the next day, the region’s rivers will experience water level fluctuations with a tendency towards rise. An increase in ice phenomena is expected. A warning concerning the change in the hydrological situation No. HC–1 dated 01.02.2026 is in effect.
