Hydrological Situation on the Rivers of Lviv Region: Review and Forecast

The hydrological situation on the rivers of the Lviv region as of June 27, 2025, remains stable.

According to the meteorological network data, between 0 to 2 mm of precipitation fell in some areas of the Lviv region over the past day. During the previous day, summer low water was maintained on the rivers of the region, with water levels decreasing by 1-7 cm. On certain rivers in the Dniester basin, water levels approached their minimum long-term values, particularly on the Stryi River in the village of Matkiv and the Tysmenytsia River in the city of Drohobych. Water temperature on the mountain tributaries of the Dniester was 13-18°, and on the rest of the rivers in the region, it was 17-22°.

The consultation about the change in the hydrological situation on the rivers of the Lviv region indicates that during June 28-30, minor water level fluctuations with a tendency to decrease and gradual reduction in water volume will be observed. On certain sections of the rivers in the Dniester basin, water levels will approach their minimum long-term values.
