The hydrological situation on the rivers of Lviv region is changing due to precipitation.
As of 08:00 on June 2, 2025, according to the hydrometeorological network, the Lviv region received from 0.3 to 11 mm of precipitation per day. This led to an increase in water levels on most rivers in the region by 2 to 24 cm, in some places up to 34 cm, particularly on the Stryi River in the village of Stryi. On the rest of the rivers in the Lviv region, there was a decrease in water levels by 2 to 10 cm.
The water temperature in the mountainous tributaries of the Dniester ranged from 5.6 to 13.0°, while in the rest of the rivers in the region it ranged from 11.0 to 19.0°.
The consultation on the change in hydrological situation on the rivers of the Lviv region indicates that in the next day, water levels on the region’s rivers will mainly decline. However, due to expected local rainfalls in the second half of June 3, rapid increases in water levels are possible on certain rivers of the Dniester basin, whereas a slight decline in water levels will be observed on the rest of the region’s rivers.
