On the rivers of the Lviv region, a decrease in water levels and an increase in ice phenomena have been observed.
During the past day, on the rivers of the Dniester basin, water levels continued to fall by 1 – 16 cm, in some places up to 20 cm (Strviazh River – Luki village). On the lowland rivers of the San, Western Bug basins, there were slight fluctuations in water levels within 1 – 11 cm, with a predominance of decrease. On the rivers of Lviv region, there was an increase in ice phenomena in the form of ice jamming and frazil ice, only in some sections of the rivers does ice cover persist.
The next day, slight fluctuations in water levels with a predominance of decrease and some increase in ice phenomena are expected on the rivers of the region.
As of 08:00 on February 21, in the mountains of Lviv region, the height of snow cover at M Turka and M Slavske did not exceed 4 cm.
