
The rivers of the Lviv region are experiencing a rise in water levels due to rainfall.
As of 8:00 AM on May 16, 2025, according to the hydrometeorological network, between 3 to 15 mm of precipitation fell in the Lviv region over a day. This led to a rise in water levels in the region’s rivers by 3 to 16 cm. The water temperature in the mountainous tributaries of the Dniester ranged from 2.7 to 6.6°, while in the rest of the region’s rivers it was from 4.8 to 13.0°.
The consultation on the change in the hydrological situation on the rivers of the Lviv region indicates that in the next two days, the region’s rivers will see slight fluctuations in water levels with a tendency to rise.
