
Overview of the hydrological situation on the rivers of the Lviv region as of 08:00 on June 5, 2025.
Over the past day, most rivers in the Dniester basin have experienced a decline in water levels ranging from 3 to 21 cm, in some places up to 27 cm (HP Bystritsa River – Ozimina village). Only in the Dniester River (section Rozdil village – Zhuravno village) and on the Strvyazh River near Luky village, due to the flood wave coming from the upstream, there was a rise in water levels from 17 to 34 cm.
In the basins of the Syan and Western Bug rivers, there were minor fluctuations in water levels ranging from 1 to 4 cm, mostly declining, with only an increase of 15 cm at HP Poltva River – Busk village.
The water temperature in the mountainous tributaries of the Dniester was 9.5 – 15.0 °C, while in the lowland rivers it was 17.0 – 20.0 °C.
