Review of the hydrological situation on the rivers of Lviv region as of 08:00 on July 5, 2025.
According to the data from the hydrometeorological network, primarily in the northern territory of Lviv region, sporadic rainfall amounts ranged from 0.0 to 9 mm, in some places up to 12 mm (Solokiya River watershed – Sheptytskyi town) fell within a day. In the previous day, the summer low water level was observed on the region’s rivers, and there was a slight decrease in water levels by 1 to 6 cm. Water levels at certain sections of the Dniester basin rivers continue to approach their minimum multi-year values (Tysmenytsia River watershed – Drohobych town, Stryi River – Matkiv village). Only at the Dniester River watershed – Rozdil urban-type settlement, the water level remains unchanged and is the lowest over the entire observation period. The water temperature in the mountainous tributaries of the Dniester was 11.0 – 16.0°, in other rivers of the region – 14.0 – 23.0°.
Consultation on the change in the hydrological situation on the rivers of Lviv region: The next day will predominantly see a decrease in water levels and a further gradual reduction in water abundance on the region’s rivers. In the area of Stryi River watershed – Matkiv village, the water level may reach its minimum multi-year values.
